I ordered one yesterday from Sprue Bros. and it came today so I assembled the lower hull and the link and length tracks.
 Very little clean up so far and those tracks went together as if they were magnets. The sprues are a mix of 1996 and 2018. I have the older Wespe built and will compare after this one is built. BTW it still has a two part barrel?  ?

Progress made today:   Yesterday I told you the barrel was two piece well the two halves went together very well and required almost no seam clean up at all. It's hard to see in the pictures,an old guy trying to hand hold a camera is not the best way for clarity. The kit is just a dry fit and if you breath on it it will almost completely fall apart. So far this has been a pleasure to build even if it is a reissue with some new parts and four nice figures, I feel the molds have been reconditioned as well because the detail is crisp and sharp.
Oh btw my order of Mission Model paints came in and i'm eager to try them out on my next M3 Lee paint job. Have a GOODIN Tony lee |
