Hi everybody, my name is Rodney and I'm from Melbourne area, Australia. I stumbled upon your forum thanks to tapatalk and thought I'd sign up. I don't get much time to model these days but I like looking around for inspiration and new ideas. I like automotive themes and n scale trains, some RC and various other things. I've been modeling scenes lately as I guess I like making things more than driving them around (haven't driven my axial scx10 for I don't remember how long). I'm a member of scale4x4rc forum and the HAMB as 2redrovers as well. Most of my time is taken up with my livelihood as a self employed panel beater, restoring rust buckets back into whole cars. I post everything I do under the same name on a local forum called ozfalcon. Feel free to drop in there if you're interested in seeing what goes on. I like scratch building stuff from basic materials because they only cost a little and can be made into so much. An example of what I'm slowly working on... 1/25 scale old school garage/workshop Basically all made from popsticks and toothpicks, the rat rod tow truck is even made of junk parts and sprue. Anyway, thanks for having me aboard. I might not have a lot to add to the models but I'll be about reading anything that catches my eye. cheers fellas  PS. If you're wondering about the name, its because I have four Rover P6 v8's, two of which are red.... obviously lol..... anyone want one?

Appreciate the welcome guys.
You know how the story goes, not enough hours in the day and they're all spent fixing other people's rust buckets instead of mine.
As for models, I'm happy to post up whatever I've got goin as soon as I figure out where to put them. I'm guessing maybe under diorama wip as it is rare that things are finished and I've been making general items rather than vehicles lately. Or do you have a general on the bench section?

I will leave one of the Mods to clarify that mate. Looks like a 3.5 P6 on your avatar, sweet ride.

I will leave one of the Mods to clarify that mate. Looks like a 3.5 P6 on your avatar, sweet ride. Yep. I think on this avatar you're looking at the white 1975 P6 3.5 v8. One of my others shows up as a red 74. I've also got a turquoise 76 and my first red 76 in many, many pieces. The white one is the only one close to drivable though still needs some minor attention. I still think they are sweet as and different to the norm, but I'm hanging out for the day I can get my 1953 Fargo ute on the road. If I could clone myself I'd be set

Welcome, Rodney! I think you'll like it around here. Post up some shots of your 1:1 work in the "Non Model Hobbies" section.
