Now on the bench! ( Yes, I currently have 3 on the bench. I'm still trying to find my "niche") I'm sure NONE of you have done this, but I started working on some assembly the day after I received it and lost a part! I was assembling the wheels for the tracks and one of the pieces flipped out of my fingers, fell into the couch and we've literally torn apart the couch looking for it. So, I now am waiting for a "warranty" part from Germany.

This is awesome. I'm watching this for sure. I want to get one of these so I'll be following with interest.
EDIT: And yes, although I have built at least 9 T-55's, this is one I have not done. Congrats on finding one of the few 1/72 scale hits I have not built yet.

I have a whole room monster. A piece will throw itself across the room. I hear the sound of where it might have landed on the other side of the room.

I got to the point of when buying a premium kit, I would also purchase a similar cheapy (Alan,UM, Eastern Express) kit for spare parts. And that is why I love resin bust figgies,,, much less pieces. Although I recently lost a pair of binoculars for a bust and now am scrambling for reference pics so I can paint him up some day.

I contacted them through email and within 7 days I had a whole new sprue with all of the tires in the mail straight from Germany at no cost to me. This build is on hold until I decide the color scheme I want to use and get the colors! (I've got 3 military builds in the pipeline that I'm still researching)

I remember years ago, I had a 1/24 scale MPC Stuka and Fw 190. I had a cracked canopy for the Focke Wulf, and the decals for the stuka were printed out of register. Within a week, I received 2 canopies, and 2 sets of decals through the mail!

That's pretty cool. The last time I tried to get something from Revell of Germany, I was charged $3.00 for it. That was some time ago, so maybe their policy has changed. I haven't needed anything yet so far (knock on wood!)

Yeah, I know. I haven't tried to get anything from them yet, although I might have to try and get an instruction and decal sheets for my 1/72 scale Swedish Leopard. I'm missing that and the decal sheet which is inside the box which has effectively disappeared. Right now, I'm not even able to get to my Hobby Room yet so I can wait.
