I apologize is this has been covered somewhere on here, but I hope to be finishing up two aircraft this month: F-22 Raptor 1:72 and F/A-18 Superhornet 1:48. These two will most likely go in my small office at work, but I was wondering how you all display your aircraft. I built the F-22 Raptor with landing gear up but all bomb/missile doors open (as if it was on an attack run) but the F/A-18 is wheels down. Unfortunately, one landing strut on the F/A-18 has already been broken twice during the build and moving around.
Do you make/buy a stand, hang it from the ceiling, sit on a shelf, etc?
Thanks!

I set mine on the shelf above my work desk... in the past I hung all my sons from the ceiling with clear fishing line... looked cool like dog fights going on and we even painted his walls blue and had billowing clouds around the top of the walls to make it seem real!!! He loved it and the cats couldn't ruin them!!!

You can buy Aircraft display stands from Airfix, you just cut a slot in the underside of the aircraft and away you go.

They all sit on a shelf behind glass,I did a 1/48 Raptor with the bay open to show off all those missles.Would like to hang some with gear up,but they do get quite dusty out.

In my case, I always build my models with gear down. That way, they all sit on the shelf. The bigger ones that don't fit on the shelf, I hang from the ceiling. I currently have about 57 aircraft and one helicopter hanging right now..... and one Zeppelin.
