As you may have noticed I wasn't around for a few days. Early Sunday morning three of my grand kids showed up at my door and told me and Judy to get dressed and pack our bags. It turned out they were here to take me and Grandma with them to visit my sister in Texas. The two youngest have never met her and they knew I would like to see her and get somewhere warm for a few days. After driving in shifts we were able to get there about 11 PM Sunday night. We were able to spend three days with her plus running over to Dallas to see my nephew and his family. We left to come back Friday morning, spent the night in Springfield IL and got home a few hours ago. It was a whirlwind trip since they had to be back to work this weekend. Needless to say a great time was had by all with some awesome quality time with my family. Sorry for no pics as I forgot my camera and I don't have a smart phone. Now to get caught up on some posts and some progress pics of the bench projects.
