Yesterday it snowed again, today most of it is gone and I found these in my yard this afternoon and two twitterpated flickers are doing their courting in my yard...

Paperwhites are taller and also called narcissus or camomile... they look like mini daffodils!!! I have tons of them here but they are just starting to send their green shoots out of the ground along with tulips, hyacinth and daffodils... I'm married to the flower queen of the Northwest!!! The whole yard is a giant garden, no lawn there... lol!!!

I've been transforming the yard here, a little at a time!

Takes forever with weeding but looks good when everything is blooming and the birds are visiting it...

Man, I wish I had a yard to plant flowers in! I love daffodils and would be thrilled to have them growing in front of my place. I tried them in pots, but they don't do too well in pots it seems.... or I just don't know what I'm doing.....
