I got this from a trade some years back but never really paid much attention to it especially that I also have the more recent Dragon kit. Anyway, as I am looking for a simple, no frills, relaxing and out of the box build, I decided to crack it open and started assembling the parts. And here is where am as of last night. I know that it has an inaccurate tracks but I will leave it as it is for the moment. Old as it is, it still a joy to build as the parts easily fell into place. So far no cuts, no lost parts, no glued fingers... Mistakes? hmmmm

Cool little build!!! I remember building one of their half tracks many years ago and as you said it practically fell together and looks pretty good to boot!!!

Looks like you've made a nice start on this one. I'll gladly follow, as I like half-track vehicles!

Looking good, Dwight! I built that kit maybe 10 years ago and like you said, even though it's not the most accurate kit of this vehicle, it "fell into place" easily and was a nice, quick project. I'll look forward to seeing more.

Nothing like an OOB Tamiya kit to get the juices flowing!! I did this kit a long time ago and really enjoyed it. All I added was a radio and antenna to it.
