not on the donkey but me. I got a surprise today when my hospice case worker called and said she had something for me and could her and someone else come over to give it to me. I said no problem and an hour later she shows up with a US Army Staff Sgt. with her. I said I already had a DD 214 and the wife won't let me go play soldier any more. But they had something else. The hospice group does a presentation of a pin thanking veterans in their care for their service. So with a little fan fair the Sgt 'Pinned' me and presented me with a Challenge Coin.    Here's what the pin looks like...  Needless to say I was surprised and honored. |

Thank you all!! It was my honor and privilege to serve. It also helps to be recognized for Vietnam service after being ignored and shunned when we came home. Our hospice group is a great organization when it comes to helping.
