Made this today to go with our corned beef dinner... wow!!! Would be great with spaghetti or a dipping sauce as well... Garlic and Herb Flatbread Yields 12 servings Ingredients Dough 1 cup sourdough starter, fed or unfed 3/4 cup warm water 2 teaspoons instant yeast 3 cups all purpose flour 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 3 tablespoons olive oil Topping 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 3 tablespoons olive oil Method Combine all the dough ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer, and knead until smooth. Place in a lightly greased bowl and let rise for at least one hour. Punch down, then let rise again for at least one hour. To prepare the topping, mix all ingredients except the olive oil in a small bowl.
