This is the first model I have attempted in almost 30 years and THE first aircraft! Right now I am ready to start putting on decals and finishing the armaments belt here’s where I am today:  I will get some better pictures when I have a place to take them. Still laid up on crutches so I can’t get out to my wood shop to get some good ones! This isn’t as “perfect” as I had hoped but I am happy considering I have painted everything by hand, and I am out of practice. |

More pics! Nearing completion but am learning how hard it is to apply decals with a broken thumb. My wife is going to help with some of the smaller decals tonight and I have some touch up painting to do. Overall, I am a bit of a perfectionist so I am not 100% happy with the results but it is acceptable for my first model in 30 yrs!    |

I commend your wife for helping out; she's definitely a keeper. Excellent work man, it looks better than the one I just finished myself a few months back..... or was it a year now....?

Thanks for the encouragement! I have put this on the back burner until my thumb splint comes off. Trying to do detail and decals with the thumb splint in the way has led to some errors.
