Impala, here we are in white primer, next is the wet sand, then to wash, then as it dry's, mix a kustom base, might as well share it with every one, looks as I might know what I'm doin, sorta, Heck with it, "Chantilly Lace"

Thanx guys, yeah guess I did, started the base last night, just a cherry red, brush spattered in 2 spots, so I stopped, will take the spatter spots down, get the decals printed, the mask too, then off to the races, the very slow and steady races, I think every one will like the way this no build comes out..

What do you take your spatter spots down with? Then you spray again to even it out?

What do you take your spatter spots down with? Then you spray again to even it out? I use 1200 grit, and go over the whole body, because I stop the minute I see the spatter, tho I missed the first, I did catch the second, so it is still in a light kinda mist coat, could say it looks like a pinkish white, so not even a first coat, which makes it easy'r to remove the spatter, and continue, with the first coat, after another wash, dry, and wipe, to continue on with what will be the first coat, it will be a lil uneven, but the next wet sand will level it out for me, guess I should do a vid, from this point on, all the kolors are mixed, and ready, just have to cut with Lacqure, test spray, on a spoon for flow, will be using kandy red, some hard kandy pearl red, and purple/red kandy metal flake, with this tho I expect just the flake to show with a mellow tint of the 2 kolors, but give me the purple effect along the edges, I will run kandy red over the decals, to remove some of it's pinkish hardness, and add a mild ghosted look, but still keep it hard edged, so stay toon'd.....

SURPRIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, Valume may be high, so turn down yer speakers...... Yeah I know if I had only clear coated the primer, I wouldn't have to dip it, but there is a tip in here for those who don't know, when removing emblems, door handles, and locks, always remember to clear over your primer, so you can see if your paint will have ghost lines in it, good thing this is only the second coat of base, most find the badges, and what not after clear is apply'd on finale paint, bye now..... www.facebook.com/Gothiczhouseofkustomz/videos/2106608279571469/
