This has had a setback... clear coat cracked... no idea why but striping in the process and can't find another bottle of copper, apparently it's been discontinued so probably changing colors if this one comes off... grrrrrrrr!!!

I used an unorthodox method. I scraped it off!! The primer didn't bond with the plastic, so it flaked off, easily. Normally, I use brake fluid to remove paint from a styrene model. It has worked well for me. Oven cleaner, Simple Green, Purple Power, and other solutions have worked for other builders.

The trick with brake fluid is really clean the parts with soap and water before trying to paint, again. I'd do that with any of these products. Also, you might want to try a scrap piece before dunking the whole body in. I don't think some of these remedies work for resin, and some body fillers won't stand up to certain ones, either. We need to pose this question in the tips section. I'll go do that, now!
