Lots of nice work there Mark! Good to see you got the decals squared away on the liner. I'm really liking that Hind. Got the big Trumpy one in the stash.

Holy Cow!!! That's one heck of an assembly line.
Well done all around. I particularly like the two WWI subjects - they're looking stellar!

I’m still amazed how you can keep track of all these Duke! I’m looking forward to seeing that 737 next to another aircraft for size comparison... hint hint

Thank you all for such wonderful responses.
Joe, the camouflage in the helicopters is because of Silly Putty. The tanks and gun were all done my hand since it was too difficult to use Silly Putty on them.
Thanks John! I just hope the other side of the airliner goes on just as smooth and even as the first side! The Hind is pretty cool; I just hope I can find a canopy soon.
Thanks Bucky! I'm happy with the progress so far!
Thank you Robert! That is about half the things on my assembly line right now too. I'm trying to focus on the projects that I'm most likely to finish before the end of the year. I also love doing the WWI subjects; they are so unique and different.
Thanks Steve! I just keep them all in their respective boxes or in a particular place in my bench so that I don't mix them up. Sometimes I still lose parts and such though, which delays me when I most want to complete something. As for the airliner; I hope to just finish it! I've always gotten just so far before another disaster hits the thing! Then I get set back and delayed another month or three while I try to figure out what do about the latest disaster! I hate it! If I can just get the last decals on and then seal it; I could potentially finish this quickly! When I do (and I will come heck or high water!!!) I'll pose it next to something.

Thank you ever so much Steve! I have to admit, a lot of the motivation comes from people's comments like the one you just left here. These, as well as the simple joy of building; of having time to myself, and seeing something develop under my attentions; that is what keeps me motivated.
Thank you once again, you are most kind.

Small update for now, just showing the last work I got done in my attempt to finish a few more models for 2018. First of all, I had gotten the decals on both sides of the 737, and when I tried to fix something, I gripped the fuselage in the wrong place and too hard: Fortunately, I was able to fix it. The wrinkling however, is permanent; I had no way to avoid that or fix it so, I just have to live with it: I had so many issues with these decals curling, all attempts to get them to lay flat failed. One side of the fuselage looks like someone's burnt face it is so wrinkled. So, since I couldn't get them to lay perfectly, I just continued on with this, clearcoating it with several more gloss coats, then installing the wings and landing gear and gear doors. "Old Burnt Face" is now completed and can be seen in the Aircraft Forums. Moving on, I was so close to finishing the Lince armored car that I went ahead and added the wheels and re-built the roof brace: Despite my best efforts this turned out to be quite a wonky little beast where nothing is aligned. I did manage through some finagling to get all four wheels to touch down. This one can be seen in the finished armor Forums now. This third one is the M-992. I started the camouflage pattern on it; painting the flat black first as well as painting the tracks: You can see I hand painted it; I was too fed up with this thing sitting on my bench to deal with Silly Putty. Maybe in the next one. Later I painted the brown color on this to complete the camouflage pattern: I then detail painted this and then glosscoated it; added the decals and dullcoated it. This one is now on the completed armor Forums as well. That closes out my 2018 production line. I may get some work done on other models before the year's end but it would be so minor that I will save it all for my next year's Thread. Thanks all for looking in, comments are welcome.

Sometimes, a coat of clear will help keep a travelling decal in place.

Yeah, I had a coat of clear on this. I also added one after they finally set all wrinkled in order to keep the wrinkled parts from flaking off. Trust me Bucky my friend; these decals were borderline unusable. Nothing would get them to lie down; a clearcoat can't fix that if they curl up anyway.
Now, let's move on to 2019 again....
