Hi everyone! I know I became a "rara avis". Well, it's not my choice, but I miss my time for hobby. What you'll see above is a small project for the future, it will be a gift for a dear friend. After another busy week, I hope next weekend have some time for me. I still don't know the title of the project, it will be about the Spring, maybe Eostre, the Northumbrian Goddess of Spring, or Medeina, the Lithuanian Princess of Forest! Just some sketches and some photos for inspiration! Have inspiration and fun with your projects! Nicolae upload image free google

WOW, Nico!!
I'd love to see all of them! It would be interesting to see how you approach the freckles on the young lass! I know it will turn out beautiful, no matter how you do it!

The young one with freckles looks a lot like my Lyssie girl!!! My oldest granddaughter and our family is from Lithuania... lol!!! These pics were taken by a professional photographer when she and her daughter were doing fairy pics in the woods... These were just proofs on her site which is why the watermark is on them...

Thank you, Keith, too kind from you! I had in my stash this beautifull little bust of Nabila Princess from La Ruota del Tempo and I always wanted to put into an adequate scene. I don't know, I ve seen it somehow with some trees near. Here you can see a top class painting work: www.planetfigure.com/threads/princess-nabila.65893/ Warm thanks for the photos, what a surprize and what a beautiful young lady in your family! Now, I really have a lot of options to choose for the tone flesh and the textiles colours! Cheers, Nicolae

Ok, my friends, now some more words about this project. The bust is cleaned and prepared for primer. I'll use the classic 73602 Black from Vallejo. The small branches are also cleaned and soaked into a mixture of White glue and water. I'll let them dry before receiving the same primer. I intend to work everything with acryllics from Vallejo, Scale 75 and Jo Sonja, some washes and inks from Vallejo. I'll start with the branches.I still thinking how to better suggest the buds are showing. Maybe I'll play a little with some lights and shadows placed some how different on the trees and some reflections on the cap. Not yet very clear on my mind! Still reading Bonemant's book, www.figone.fr/en/figopedia-english-sent-with-tracking-number/ Cheers! Nicolae

Excellent idea Nicholae. BTW, I love the fourth pic down on your original post, she is a true budding beauty. I'd love to see that on this bust.
