Still kicking for awhile...Update 2/15

Not the best post I ever wanted to make but here goes... I had my PET scan Jan 2nd and the results were not good. The cancer is still active and I start chemo the 29th. Depending on how my body takes to the chemo treatments will be the judge on how much time I have left. If it goes ok I'm looking at maybe 2 yrs (I'm going for three) and if it doesn't I'm looking at 6 months. Needless to say my mojo on things is pretty low but I'm trying to hang in there. I have gotten some bench time in, it's just I haven't felt like talking to anyone here lately. I'll keep on plugging away at the bench and hopefully I'll get a bit more talkitive.

All the best Cliff, my wife has been there and my sister in law is stage 4 so I've a pretty good idea what is going on,be strong and do all you can that you fancy which you might have put off before, your mojo will come back, good luck

Ok and howdy folks. After almost 3 weeks in the hospital I'm back home. 

Jan 27th I went to the local ER cause I was having a very hard time breathing. They did a CT scan and found the tumor was restricting my air passage into my left lung and I was starting to develope pnemonia. I stayed there until Feb 1st when I was able to be transferred to the Iowa City VA hospital. There they got me stable and kept me in ICU until the 8th when they took me to the University of Iowa where they put a stint in my left air passage so I could breathe with both lungs. They discharged me a couple of days ago and I've been working on getting my strength back up and my ambition going.

I do have my next build planned and hope to get started in a couple of days. Some changes were required in the painting area. I'm not going to try and go up and down the steps to the painting room, so I bought one of those fold up portible spray booths and going to Mission Models paint to get away from the fumes to use upstairs here.

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers and along with Judy at my side it will make this road easier to walk.
