this "collection" is all 1/350th models with the Tamiya kit of the carrier Enterprise and the New jersey, also incl are two Dragon kits and two Italeri kits of Agis criusers, Bunker Hill, Valley Forge, Ingersol and i forgot the other one, there's also a Los Angeles class sub in there but there aint much to see as i did all these waterline, even at 1/350th the carrier is a massive kit (another one i wish i'd kept) it came with two sets of aircraft and i used about five sprues of photo-etch crew figures,
i did plan to make a large coffee table out of this display with a nice plate galss top but it never happened and this lot ended up with me cutting out the individual ships on circular saw and a guy bought all of em Advertised em on ebay, surprised me as they were covered in sawdust and each sat on wierd shaped bits of chipboard which used to be the base, water was plaster painted over, i doubt any fleet sailed this colse together but hey! i have needed a base the size of a foofball field to place em in scale :D
thanks for looking
Opps sorry the close up's of the battleship are of the Missouri, got em mixed up with the modern ships pics, i did intend doing a WW11 dio with the Missouri and several Revell kits i made (no pics of these tho) and intended to get a WW11 US carrier in 1/350th but it didn't happen, there wern't many kits of ww11 carriers back then apart from some resin kits but they were out of my price range, a lot more choice nowadays
