Here it is, in all its glory! HAHAHA The taillights are '59 Caddy units, but were supplied in the Mercury kit as custom items. I chose to mount them vertically, instead of horizontally, as the sheet called for. I also Frenched them in. It's sitting fairly low. The grille is a two piece affair. I drilled holes in the flat part, and then added the Caddy style center piece to it. Both parts came in the Mercury kit. The hood a trunk lids were heavily modified. I fabricated the hinges for both lids. This shows the forward tilt hinge I built from styrene tube and brass wire. Inside the trunk carries the same them as the interior. Good ol' Mercury Eight flathead power! The business side of things. Hood down...... Hood up. i'm kinda glad this one is finished. I worked on for over a year. It ain't perfect, but I ain't tossing it in the trash!! HAHAHAHA
