I didn't realize it had been over a year for this one!

Here's some work I got done today:

The hood was pancaked last year.

I mocked up a front-opening hinge. here's the rough draft...and I do mean rough!!

I gotta lotta tweakin' to do on this hinge, but I think it's gonna work.

It was suggested to me that it looked a bit too wide.
So...I did some trimming:

I can't really go any thinner, due to the way the hinge is mounted.
