Well, after chipping off the salt, applying several washes, chipping, detail painting under, in and on, the HONCHO is Finished. Won't bore you all with all the shots. The finished shots will be in the Finished section.

It was fun practicing weathering techniques again and also using the Salt Method. A word of warning, salt can be corrosive and effect some paints over time. I don't think it will hurt this truck though. Looking forward to seeing how Bucky's turns out. Thanks for being patient and letting me participate. It was fun, as usual.

Used a wooden tooth pick to pop off the salt crystals. That leaves the Red Primer base showing through. There are videos on Youtube, showing the process better.

Yes it is. Added chipping color and washes to get the desired affect.

I grabbed the Honcho, tonight. Cleaned up a couple seams that were a little mismatched. Found out the frame has a little warp to it. I hope it will straighten out when I do final assembly.
