Kreigsmarine Tirpitz & Bismarck 1/350th scale

these are a one set of the Tamiya 1/350th ship kits, they released these kits in "pairs" ie:- Bismarck & Tirpitz, Missouri & New Jersey, Yamato and (forgot it's bloody name , king george V and Prince of Wales,
in my opinion Tamiya is just about the best kit produce around in terms of accuracy and quality, it was a real pleasure makeing these kits and i just wish i hadn't sold them, i made three pairs displayed together but the missouri and new jersey i split up adding the "lucky J" to a large dio, as this kit was made in the jersey's later (modern) refit, carrying agis and phanax plus ship to air missiles
anyway this pair being 2WW i put together, the sea is the plastic sheet stuff and looks good with ships of this scale,
gold medal models do excellent photo-etch sets for these kits wich really add to the detail, just my oppinion but i think these german warships are about the most "hansome" of the "big gun ships, the american "Iowa" class being a good contender in the looks contest, so hope ya like em

I will have to quantity this kit fantastic to superb.The kits one important problem is the out of scale anti aircraft weapons..looks like a amazing set of AA weapons for the 1/350 Bismarck/Tirpitz

Those "waterline series" kits are superb and you did an excellent job on the dio there popeye... although one of thr lifeboats has capsized! I didn't realise you could get photo-etch for these kits too... and those tiny crew!?!
