Got myself a little bench time with the holiday break from school. After months of waiting, finally got the decals on. Next will be a dull coat to seal them. Then painting and installing the crew. I might do a little bit of weathering but overall I'm gonna keep this a clean build....for now.

Hmmm...too cold to spray outside. Guess it's back on the shelf until it warms up enough to paint outside. Even with the paintbooth and exhaust port leading outside, the enamel fumes are still too much for inside.

I have the same problem. And the lacquer paint fumes are worse than enamels, here at my house!

Put a floor fan pointed towards your paint booth when you spray with your booth fan on also, helps when I spray Lacquer to keep the fumes in the corner until it vents out the exhaust port...

Just realized the lighting makes her look a little brown. I'll retake the pics.

Ok, so this is my first build goal for the summer. I'm going to try some the weathering techniques used in the article "How to show off A SHERMAN part 2" from FSM's November 2010 issue pages 24-28.
I applied the dullcoat a few moments ago and I will let that cure for a day or so.
