I also have a 68 Shelby.. this ‘67 will be metallic black. The Shelby will be metallic gunmetal. I want to try some paint effects with one of them.... am using spray cans for now until my man cave is fully set up for the compressor and air brushing

Ya’all May recall I bought a 1967 Mustang GT kit from the pawn shop several months ago... that one was missing chrome, was a paint bomb etc. I picked this one up today (exact same one as the other one) today at a flea market for $10. All spires inside still unopened in plastic: I have a 67 GT 350 Shelby Mustang if you want to do a duel... or we could see how many other Stang builders would like to do a any year or model Mustang build if you are interested...

As far as "Latest Grabs" go, my Christmas styrene is on order. Supposed to be in stock this week, so we'll see how long it takes to get here. May be after the first of 2019, but I'll post it in this years grabs.

This one arrived today from Amazon. I have never built a Horizon kit, but it looks pretty good in the box. I am going to build the rocket that carried Alan Shepard into space. This one has some local significance as he was born in Derry, New Hampshire so it will be kinda cool when I get this one on the shelf.

Ernie that rocks! I also picked up one of those along with an Atlas over in Phoenix during the IPMS USA Nationals. Maybe we can do this together? I also want to do Alan Shepard's ride.
Pics forthcoming on my Christmas scores.....

Pics forthcoming on my Christmas scores..... Sure, we can do these together, that would be cool! I'll have to see if I can get some pictures of the Redstone missile in Waren, NH. It is apparently the only town in America with a real Redstone missile in it They got it in 1971 somehow....

It was a great Christmas for me this year, mostly due to the money and gift card I got. I went shopping the day after Christmas and got these: Paints, glues and decal set: I got multiples since I need to stock up in my travel toolbox too. And now for the models. I didn't get the top two selections on my list, but I did get some excellent selections... But first, a Secret Santa from these Forums sent me something. It was very unexpected as we hadn't set up a gift exchange: Inside was this old "classic"! Thanks Secret Santa! I built one of these some years ago, making it an Australian bird. I'll have to see what I can do with this one.
The models I picked up are here: IBG Japanese Chi Nu Medium tank: That might be the first to start in 2019... Another Riich Models M-109A2 so I can make it either British or Italian, whichever this vehicle fits better for: Since I have a Russian T-35, I figured I'd get this Trumpeter T-28 to go with it: And then I got some farm animals from Pegasus to feed my crew fresh milk and eggs: I had also gotten the Pegasus Hobbies Nautilus from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, but the camera wouldn't focus on the box so you'll just have to look that one up to see what it looks like. I'd been wanting that for awhile, it was time to pick it up. Finally, while it isn't quite model related, it does touch on modeling to some degree. This was my wife's present to me and herself: Hey, there are a lot of war movies and historical documentaries I can watch on that! Okay, that was my Christmas acquisitions. Merry Christmas to me!
