The only model I got was one I've wanted for awhile... had it as a kid and didn't do it justice then... my daughter who knows me well also sent the second pictured item, I love it!!! For those interested in this kit I was surprised to find it has Granny's Hotrod transformation included if you want to build it instead... has a nice built V-8, wide tires and lots of chrome parts... the original was a read hotrod that Jethro drove with Granny! I will build the original though and save those extras for my own scratched rod down the road!!! Love extra parts!!!

You know what, Joe? It just dawned on me that not only did I get nothing for the holiday, but I don't believe I've bought or received a single model related item in all of 2018. A lot of my hobby efforts this year shifted toward building my board game collection. Now that it's pretty much done (except for the new purchase now and then), I'm hoping 2019 shifts back to the modeling hobby!
It's really tough having more than one hobby interest!

Don't forget our "hobby run" back in March, RL. I thought you grabbed a kit, ordered one that day.

Bucky,
You are 100% correct. I completely forgot about that trip. I pretty sure I didn't pick up a kit that day, but I did order the Scammell kits. However, that was the only purchase this year.
Thanks for the nudge to the old memory banks!

I just got the one from the Secret Santa that sent me one. I'll post that in a bit. However, I got quite a haul of Christmas money to spend at a local Hobby Shop. Hopefully this will get me that M-1070 with the D-9 dozer now! Yay!
Robert, I know how tough it is having both model building and gaming as hobbies and the difficulty of following both. It's even more difficult being on the E-board of the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society/Pacific Southwest organization where we have to constantly find ways to increase the membership while planning the various game conventions during the year. Throw in the attempts to paint and build the miniatures, terrain and other aspects of the games and find time to actually play really makes it a burden.

Got this bad boy for Christmas from my wife and kids..... I love this beast!!!!! Such a brutish, purposeful, powerful aircraft. This is the interceptor version. ICM has also released a couple of the recon / recon bomber versions as well. Very thankful and happy camper that I got this from my family! Also have a couple of books coming from Amazon, that are not here yet, and a couple of Amazon gift cards as well.

Hope and pray you all had a merry Christmas! This was my “big” gift for Christmas: This truck has a story. It’s a replica of my favorite Hot Wheels car as a kid. My dad didn’t bring a lot of surprises home but he did with this one. I was about 6 I’d say. I LOVED this truck. Within a week of getting it though my little brother took it outside and lost it in the garden. I was crushed and looked for it for years (every time my dad filled the garden). I mentioned it to Sara a few months back when I found a picture of it on Pinterest. It took her weeks, but she tracked one down for sale and bought it for me! I will be getting a display case and putting it somewhere safe! It will always remind me of her love, my late brother and my dad!

Awesome scores guys! That Tamiya paint stand is fantastic; one of the best tools on the workbench.
I'm going shopping soon so I'll post my Christmas goodies that I get when I get them home and take pictures.

Ya’all May recall I bought a 1967 Mustang GT kit from the pawn shop several months ago... that one was missing chrome, was a paint bomb etc. I picked this one up today (exact same one as the other one) today at a flea market for $10. All spires inside still unopened in plastic:
