Now I have 8 models at home that is love to do all at once.  however, I pulled out the ‘53 ford to get together a plan to put the finishing touches (and fix some flaws) this week. Then I will start the Mighty Mo’. From there will probably work on the mister truck and corvette because I have paint already for those! |

I went to Buckeye lake to see two of my kids this past weekend and for fathers day my daughter took me out to Ihops for breakfast and then on to Hobbyland and bought me a Revell 32 5 window coupe. That was nice outta her and it's one I don't have.

Ok, so this might not be the best place to put this, but I'm going to try anyways. In the last few months, I've picked up a T-55 tank, the Mighty Mo, an F-16 and a SECOND F-18/E Super Hornet. I am a HUGE history buff and my area of interest is WWII. I never could serve due to some medical issues, but I have an immense amount of respect for all of those vets that have served and fought for our freedom.
That being said, my F-16 and new F-18 are plain Jane versions of the jets. What I want to do is to paint them with a specific squadron's color scheme. Currently on the F-16, I am leaning toward the 1th Aggressor Squadron. However, this morning I was wondering, are there any vets on here or do you have any family that have flown either of these two jets? If so, let me know what squadron they flew for so that I may honor them with these two models. I'd much rather have a name on these jets that I could provide a story for than something generic or no name at all! My wife's cousin was a marine combat pilot in both Iraqi campaigns, but they only flew the hornet (another jet purchase in the future), so I can't use his 2 squadrons.
My Mighty Mo is being painted as is since it's the version commemorating the signing of the Japanese surrender at the end of the war.

In an attempt to try and get back on the modeling track, I purchased a grail kit on my Bucket List. It's the Moebius 1/10 scale " Death Dealer " kit.

Got this today, ordered it a while ago from Taiwan, My wife loves penguins, so I am going to build these for her.  Rocket penguins from Batman movie  These are vinyl figures, and it has been a very long time since I have messed around with a vinyl kit, so it should be fun  |
