The Duke's Final Armor for 2017

Here at the end of 2017, I have finished one more tank. This tank its the IBG Japanese Type 89 Early in 1/72 scale. This model measures less than two inches in length. I finally managed to get it finished just yesterday. Here it is, built out of the box:







That's it for armor for this year. I tried to finish up the Japanese Type 89 Late, but it took a bit more time. That might be my first for 2018. At least I was able to finish one other model; as well as a collection, this year. Until next year, thanks all for looking in, comments are welcome.

Absolutely remarkable! No way to tell from the images that the thing is so tiny. I assume the muffler burn guard is an appropriately tiny P/E part?

Very nicely done, is this Dragon? It seems to carry much more detail than I associate with this scale.

Beekster, the burn guard is indeed a photo-etch piece I needed to bend and glue into place. It was painted a grey color first then dusted with old and new rust colored powders. The bars across the upper roadwheels is also photo-etch.

Mark, this is from a Polish company called IBG. They do have tremendous detail for the size of these models.
