I recommend several Pendleton wool blankets to keep warm with. Full disclosure: My father worked for Pendleton when I was a little boy, and I love their wool shirts and blankets this time of year...even in rather temperate Hillsboro, Oregon, where it is an admittedly unseasonably warm 51 degrees this morning.

Usually it's in the 80s with the wood stove going... but it's barely pushing 70 in the house lately...too darn cold!

Well shucks Jeff, in the 15yrs I've been up here in the Great White North I've only seen -22*, back in the winter of 02'. A word to the wise, don't even think of relieving yourself outside, that can be dangerous, HA!

No wonder you can't model right now.... the plastic would shatter or your fingers would stick to it!

I am stuck in this wheelchair...and I feel bad that I can't help outside in the winter.

One day at a time Patrick, I was stuck two winters ago with a broken knee while others did what I felt I should have been doing... we all survived... you will be back at it again my brother!!! Just do what the doctors say and take care of yourself!!!

That is cold indeed. It reminds me of some of the winters I experienced in Minnesota.
I'll be visiting my brother in Columbus, Ohio from January 10th through January 20th. I expect to be "enjoying" all that cold and snow very soon!

I invited my sister (in Texas) to come up for Christmas and the language she used you wouldn't expect from a lady but with our dad being a U.S. Navy battleship sailor it didn't really surprise me .

Currently a balmy 38 degrees with light east wind here in Hillsboro, with bright sunshine. I'll be putting the top down and taking the roadster out for a drive a little later today. Absent actual precipitation falling from the sky, there is no such thing as inappropriate convertible weather...only inadequate convertible clothing. I'm properly kitted out: img free
