I saw this in a scale model-oriented magazine and decided to try it. If you have a clear plastic part, such as a windshield, that is scratched, you can fix that. Take a bowl and put some Future floor finish in it. Dip the piece in the Future, preferably holding it with clamps in a spot that won't be seen. Hold the piece at an angle and allow the excess Future to run back into the bowl. Allow the part to dry before handling. I used this trick on an OLD Jo-Han '62 Studebaker Lark window. The piece had darted around inside the box for a lot of years unprotected and was pretty well scratched up. This is the result of using this technique. It worked for me first time I tried it. Hope this helps!!!!

Looks like it did the job. I have read about this as well. Future is supposed to be good for finishing bodies as well.

Cheer's Keith for reminding me about this, i seem to remember there being some problem (here in the UK) about obtaining the proper "future" as i remember it the stuff here didn't contain a certain chemicle thats in the real future and so didn't work on the plastic glass, i ment to try some verious products like "floor shine" out on some scrap clear and see how it went but forgot all about it, if any uk members know if the "pukka" future is available here please let me know, windshields etc in kits are useually marked so this would be real usefull, Keith! if ya get time any chance you can list the ingrediants if their listed on the can? then i could perhaps check with the contents list on similar stuff here in the shop cheer's mate (we need a "thumbs up" smiley ;D
