I don't know what's not accurate about it, except for the lack of brick dust scattered all over and showing track marks in it. It is a brilliant display with marvelous composition and appearance. Magnificent work man!

Magnificent work man! Refer back to my early posts on this thread. The faults lie entirely with Italeri. As a Sherman geek their goofs really stand out to me, but that's not Mark's fault. His execution is superb. |

Duke the Beek is right there are many inaccuracies in this ancient Italeri kit but I chose to not let them bother me overly. The most glaring problem is the large hatch A1 hull; there were a few of these around as I have seen pictures of them, but the great majority of them were based on the small hatch direct vision hull. That's not where the inaccuracies end and for sure I don't know them all

Good to know Mark and Beeks. I usually don't set out to correct any inaccuracies in any models I build; and I'm certainly a novice when recognizing different variants and versions. Just building out of the box is relaxing and fun for me. If it looks like one, it is one....
Overall it is still a great looking little vignette. Brilliant job, even with all it's inaccuracies.
