Thanks gents
Beekster yeah I'm sure, too short even with the 2 parts assembled. Not gonna worry about it, you can't see 'em anyway when the turret's on and figure(s) in it
Current state

Just about done

I'll pick out the grousers, paint the periscopes, add the MG's and stowage. Then dirt time, I'm thinking of a light dusting rather than heavy mud after all it did not rain EVERY day during WW II. The suspension was built to articulate so it'll flatten out when I screw it to the base. Gotta start the crew...

Thanks gents
Carl I used Model Master acrylic clear flat. Once dry (overnight) I gave it an overall drybrush with MM enamel Lichtgrau to give it the "I've been in the sun for awhile" look

Thanks Mark for the reply . I'm always in products that have good results . The dry brushing is a good trick .

Coming along nicely! The photo shows why I don't use any kits band tracks any more: They are always too tight, and will either cause the suspension arms to ride up front and rear as seen here or cause the idlers to break from stress. Often both. Yes, Sherman tracks are boring and tedious to build but with an assembly jig they aren't inherently difficult.

Cheers gents
Carl you are quite welcome
Beekster a couple #6 screws and the track/roadwheel issue will disappear

Methinks it's a go. I may be delayed on completion however as the figures I got for this are pretty bad; may have to replace them
