This is another one that resides in my driveway: This is a 1990 Jaguar XJ-S V-12 roadster. A fun car that likes premium gas!!!! The ride is much better than any Vette I've ridden in. Not much wind buffetting with the top down, either. Here are a couple more shots: I did NOT buy this car new! It woulda cost around $55,000 if I hadda. Too rich for my blood! Thank goodness for used car lots!!!!

Back in the sixties and seventies over here, a lot of Jags gave up their independant rear suspensions for hot rods.

Thanks! It has a 5.3L V-12. By comparison, a 318 MOPAR V-8 is listed as a 5.2L. Horsepower is listed as 263, torque as 288. It's a fast car, smooth on the road, and fun. Gets the head-turners started, too!!

I bet it sounds good with that 12-banger underneath that long hood too! I bet she's high on parts though...fun ain't free though ;D You orta run it down here one Thursday this month and run 'er out at Bristol,see what she'll do,teeheehee! I ALWAYS loved that bodystyle,has to be the best looking of the breed IMHO

Parts aren't cheap. Some I can't find. Not really set up for dragging, more of a top end cruiser. I can't even get it turn the tires over! But, once it gets rolling, look out! HAHAHA

LOL,that's the way my Stang was before this round of mods (high speed cruiser),running at only 2,000 RPM at 85 MPH or so,LOL!
