Ok, this sweet little land barge is in for a rebuild, NOT the body. In this rebuild it will be getting a better chassis and the interior will be finished as well.  And it begins, I used another Bonneville body to do the fitting and sizing for this rebuild.  redid the chrome on the dash  The new tub with the floor removed, and sitting on the Impala floor pan. ( the old interior had no back seat under the tonnue cover and broke easily when I went to remove the floor).  With the new chassis, the front wheels will steer and have much more detail than the original pan chassis had. Stay tuned there's more to come, Jerry |

The model gods are with me so far!!! I found another LIW (Lady In Waiting) with the styline front, this will make it so I won't have to use the finished body to test anything!!! Anyway, here's whats happening with this rebuild.  Hmm, 421, this could work, maybe.  As you can see, the frame is stretched, and the inner fenders and core support also fitting as well.  The frame is primed, I'm thinking it'll go in the Orange pearl with the new floor in white pearl.    Stay tuned for more to come!! Jerry |

** UPDATE** I had to try the updated chassis in the body. It fits!!!!!   The frame and inner fenders are in primer, now to take a break, let all the fill and primer set up. More to come, Jerry |

**UPDATE** I think it's ready for some paint work. The paint booth is cleaned, ready and waiting, just need for the garage to warm up a bit, hopefully I'll get the base white done today.    Stay tuned, this is where it gets fun! Jerry |
