I did the old Monogram kit ten years ago on a consignment build and that sucker was HUGE!! (and nowhere near the $562 range)

I also built that same Monogram kit Cliff. It is 1/72 scale. That one in 1/48 is probably sporting a 5 and 1/2-foot wingspan at least!

5ft of resin must warp under its own weight surely? Possible, in a hot environment. One would probably have to reinforce the wings and even the fuselage with metal rods or bracers inside.
