Yes I did but it's hard to see being under the fender on the right side. Saw a picture of such a hit somewhere and it was not obvious in the real thing either

Have another look at reference photos to see if that energizes the creative process. Maybe you'll find that it needs some rusty areas between the paint and the blackened area, where the fire wasn't as intense. Paint burned off and surface oxidized, but not to the point of blackening the structure...a transitional area. And unless this happened just a couple of hours ago, a coating of dust is in order to blend everything together. Just a couple of thoughts, for what they're worth.
