Do you get tired of baking ordinary biscuits? I do, so I made up this very simple replacement today! Ingredients: 1 can of 8 Pillsbury Grands Biscuits 8 slices of Smithfield Boneless Ham 1-1/2 cups of shredded Sharp cheddar cheese 1 beaten egg used for a wash Directions: Flatten and roll out each biscuit until 5-6 inches in diameter. Place ham and cheese on one half. Fold over and use fork to seal edges. Poke holes for venting. Place on baking sheet and brush tops with egg wash. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

This does look good and is a brilliant variation on the Pillsbury biscuits. I might try mine with provolone cheese though; while I like cheddar, it is a bit strong. I've always like the combination of provolone with ham.
Thanks for posting this great recipe. Nice one!
