I picked up a bunch of new kits at the model show on saturday.
I won this corvette and $20 gift certificate for a local hobby shop in a raffle.

I really like this one.


This old Harley kits a real gem.


I picked up this woody kit for $10.




And my favorite score of this years show three of the coolest cars of all time in one box.

Ya I spent A few bucks but its only once a year. LOL

Scored a new model bench (and passed the ld on to Nick,the Boy) at a local thrift store yesterday-a bit bigger,better condition,and nicer,including two rolling chairs pretty nice,all for the low price of 25 bucks! ;D

LOL,thanks,Rick! I made up for the $ saved on that bench today at the flea market (meaning these weren't no bargains...),LOL,picked these up (for a total of 3 counting the one already in transit from eBay) ;D


DON'T tell the Wife,shhhhh!!!

I'll be scoring some serious dental work...I'll most likely have to wait until tax season '13 though "No good deed goes unpunnished" as they say...while loading a bunch of kids bikes I'd gathered and fiddled-into-ridable-condition into the Merc a couple days ago,one got caught at an odd angle. While trying to yank it free (so the others would fit),it popped loose unexpected-like,smacking me squarely on the mouth,knocking me flat on my bum in the puddle filled (it's concrete) driveway,breaking a front tooth near the gumline...


SO this is as close to smiling as I'll be doing for a long time ...


See...those kiddie bikes,I gather and work on em,and donate them to Haven of Rest (local charity,homeless/battered/abused shelter and under-priviledged helpers),so there's the "good deed" in the "No good deed" thing

Thanks guys . Looks lik it may be a while on the dentist...I could really rant about this,but the short version is I'm 23 days short on enough active duty days to gt ANY VA Medical benefits (I served 36 full monts,but only 23 months and 7 days active duty,they require a full 24 months for benefits thanks to Obummer-Care rules),and despite the "Full Disability" now,no healthcare whatsoever came with it (again,thanks to Pres Obummer ).

The god news is,no pain so far (other than the initial impact,LOL),just aggrivating to talk (trouble talking is a real pain when your username coul be Blabberfingers,LMBO! ).

I almost forgot I also picked up one of those packs of AT rear hotrod dragster tires,I need to shoot a pic of em,LOL!

I got this round 2- 76 gremlin its a very well put together kit.

My girl was just in Rome and brought me back this one.
A Japanese kit of an Italain car in Rome. LOL
