We had 3 thick pork chops that were calling to be turned into something different for dinner tonight while Laura was at work so on the grill they went to lightly BBQ them! Then I sliced them into small bite size pieces and set aside while I chopped half an onion, two garlic pieces and a few stalks of celery and sautéed them in a pan with two tablespoons of butter! Then came the fun ingredients: 1 cup Chili Sauce, 1 tbsp. white vinegar, 1 tbsp. brown sugar, 1 tbsp. worchestershire sauce, 1 tsp. of salt, 1 tsp. of thyme, 1/2 tsp. of chili powder or less if you don’t like a bit of heat. Mix it all up in the pan and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes until you are ready to serve it on some nice ciabatta rolls or whatever kind of rolls you like! Nice hot BBQ Pork sandwiches! I am serving them with a side of BBQ Baked Beans and green salad and fruit to round it all out! Who says you can’t grill in the winter??? Silly people!!! Get out and get cooking something fun! Yes its true, Realtors® and modelers can cook and bake!!! LOL!!! Joe Enjoy this meal!
