This thread has been started from part of another thread. The other thread started out as thread about a Mustang kit build. The 1:1 Mustang and Blazer posted in the first thread piqued enough interest to be able to stand alone in their own thread. So, I moved that part of the thread here. Following are the posts I moved. Enjoy Olskoolrodder's Mustang and Blazer thread!!!!! Yeah really,LOL! Welp, looks like I'll be still helping Pop tomorrow too...finished the fence this morning, and then started on a deck/porch...sigh. Saturday we're gunna try again to go get the lawn mower and the dogs (will make the 3rd weekend straight we've tried to get over there, but there's another reason I'm going*),and I can barely walk now...sigh. *A dude over close to my old regular trails (bicycle) I rode was in town here apparently last week, and saw LO BLAZE in town, wrote down the # and called,he's got a Fox-Body GT ('88 Mustang) in decent (if fugly) shape and I'm gunna look at it for a possible swap. Here's a couple pics (it's dirty, and pics shot w/ cell phone)... After working at Pop's all day,I finally got around to prepping/spraying the frame and front bumper on the Blazer (yeah...now that it's for sale,LOL! ). Here's the befores... (notice the frame under the body, all chips and surface rusty) The during... And the after... I'm really hopeful about that ol Foxbody,I been wanting another Mustang anyhow (to save miles on/restore a bit my ragtop),but been wanting another Foxbody since I totalled that one back in high school,LOL! Wish me luck ;D

Thanks, old friend! You know,I'll trade for it (assuming it's at least as good a shape as the Blaze),but the more I cleaned up and shined on the Blazer (and knowing exACTLY what it needs to be fixed up...a steering box,shocks,painf-despite how good it looks in the pics,LOL-and a 350 TPI/LT1/LS2 swap, complete with 6 speed*),if'n he don't or I decide not to,I may just keep the ol Blaze, fluff it up a bit and daily it,save miles on the Stang (*be pretty bad if one's Blazer outruns his Mustang GT,eh? ). I'll let y'all know after tomorrow, and WISH ME LUCK FOR SOME BENCHTIME SUNDAY!!!! ;D

I don't guess I'm gunna...the dude ain't answering his phone or emails (that he asked me to make before we left so we could meet). I'm taking that as a sgn that A) I shouldn't buy/trade with him anyways, and B) Maybe I shouldn't get that prticular Mustang anyways,and/or B) Maybe I orta keep the Blaze...

Steve, I think it might possibly be a [glow=red,2,300]SIGN[/glow]. When I do a deal, I am always in tune with stuff, that is out of the ordinary. If someone does not make an attempt to return calls/emails, then I wash my hands of the deal. The BLAZE is looking good, it doesn't cost you anything to own, and I think the LT/LS1 ,six speed deal would be a WHOLE LOT MORE FUN, to drive. OH think of the unsuspecting dudes you can take out.. Just my 2 centavos.

Bob,thanks,Brother ;D Hotrod-yeah,me too.EVEN if it had been something I really wanted,I try and stay objective, and watch body language too. Yeah, the LS would be WAY kooler...I doubt it'll ever happen though,LOL,if it be my daily,a 2.2L/5 speed for MPG's would be more likely to get her approval,LMBO! Besides, when I tolded her I would love to find/buy a '03/'04 Mach I once she's earning decent $ and our credit repair is finished, her reply was a serious "could it be Grabber Blue?"...I LOVE that woman! LOL! ;D
