Do you have any idea what kind of paint it is, Buck? Enamel, Lacquer, Acrylic?

No idea. I don't think there was any primer put down, and the plastic doesn't seem to be crazed, so maybe it was a styrene friendly paint. No clue how old it is, either.

So, I've tried three different things: The silver that was on the inside of the roof disappeared with the the Purple Power. The gold is hanging in there! The Fabuloso got the gold started on the hood, but then I put it in the Simple Green, and finally the gold came off. The Green didn't do anything on the gold on the roof, however. Still experimenting!!

So...after ten days in four different products, Fabuloso, Simple Green, Purple Power, and finally, Super Clean: As it looked, before: The silver on the inside disappeared immediately. The gold turned out to be very stubborn. I'll try to sand off the remaining gold, and see what I have, then. My conclusion is that the Super Clean did the best job of these four products. Your results may be different.

I put my Roadrunner in a bag with Easy Off Lemon Scent Oven Cleaner for about a half hour and it took it to the stage of your last picture, just haven't had time to do another shot of it for the rest...
