I'm planning to do that when the glue sets good. I noticed that would be necessary when looking at Cougar pics on the web.

Been a while since I've tooled around on this one! I got the wheels and tires ready:  Cragar S/S wheels with Firestone Deluxe Champion blueline tires. Mockup to check stance. A wee bit high, but I'm gonna live with it:  A custom taillight, but keeping close to the same Cougar styling as the stock unit:  The taillight panel is chrome, and I used Tamiya clear red to tint it. I will prolly give it a couple more coats of red. |

Looking good! I thought you might have finished this one, but I guess I was wrong. Any Idea as to what color your going to put on it?

Having to do my spray painting outside, and some real life obstacles, has slowed my progress a good bit. I have several on the bench waiting for paint.
I'm open for suggestions on the color for this one. I was thinking maybe a blue or light green, but I'm not stuck on those two. I did rule out white.

Somebody locally has a very nice Honda Civic type R or S which is grey with orange accents, it goes together really well

I've had a bit of time, lately, so I got a little bit done on the PUMA. I drilled out the spokes on the steering wheel:  Being a parts bin steering wheel, I needed to make a column for it:  This looks better than a skinny stick poking out of the back of the wheel:  I also stepped out back and squirted some Rustoleum Semi Gloss Black paint on some of the parts:  |
