Mehhh. Not much of a base builder, Joe. Not good at it and I don't enjoy doing them. I do however enjoy other persons efforts. They do add a lot to a build.

Jeff, please do not use that plastic p.o.s. base, make a small one, it's fun and you can build whatever you like. The figures look lovely !

Strange the base is so small, I'm sure you will come up with a suitable solution

Use a small rock.

That would work well with a flat rock actually Bruce!!!

Thanks, Guys. Yeah, the kit base is weak to say the least. Don't know what's up with it. I may have a solution though. I went through my other unbuilt Revell/Matchbox kits and found this one. Not perfect but better, I think. Tell me what you think, Lads. Be honest.

I like the idea of a big garden rock better with a bit of grass glued to it in places... Just my 2 cents worth... see what the others think!!!

With the correct materials (paint/pigments/dirt/sand / ) that could work Jeff .

I was racking my brain to remember which kit I came from. I built every one of these when they were the multicoloured Matchbox one’s. Great times

I've got one of those two tone kits. It's the L70.

Could you incorporate that base into a larger one?

I could, but I'm not going to, Keith. Like I said. Not too big on bases.
