I've always seen cars painted with nail colors but have been afraid to try it, I assume if you didn't primer it might melt the plastic as it's fast drying/hot!!!

Joe, we use cheap or medium Lacquer thinner. It isn't supposed to melt the plastic, but they always recommend to do a test spoon first, just to be sure. Nail Polish gives a hard durable finish. This will be my first attempt, so wish me luck.

I have seen Dr. Cranky's work, first hand, and it is absolutely beautiful. He has several videos on Youtube, also.

I like the black primer. Sometimes, it will make certain colors pop better than gray primer.

Mixed the Love Nails, 2 to 1. Used my Iwata Revolution BCR siphon feed air brush and shot many coats of Lacquer ou in the garage, because of the fumes, etc.

Think I'll try Model Master's Clear Top Coat, after shooting the flames. Be patient Joe. Shinny to come.

I am Bruce, guess I was expecting the shine the ladies get right out of the bottle on their nails... lol!!! The thinner must have knocked down the gloss...

I'm thinkin that, as well as the temperature and humidity. Not the best painting conditions here in the North West, but we'll make it happen.... or not. Very nice color though and one you won't see in a Rattle Can.

I'm thinkin my pressure was too high ( 25 psi) I will shoot a couple more WET coats and see if that helps, after a light sanding with 4000 grit.
