Being from Tennessee, the deepest snow I've ever seen was 16 inches....and that fell in Michigan, while I was up there, working!!! It snowed about the middle of December that year, and I didn't see the ground until late April, the following year, because it would snow about every four days, or so!!

my spiritual home, Minnesota, had some snow last week with I think 4 people killed on the roads. Just glad we don't suffer the snow like you guys do. If we did the country would grid to a halt just like it does if we get a light dusting of the white powder!!

Some people over here just get crazier when it snows, Pete! I think we should do like the bears, and hibernate in winter!!!!

Beautiful view from and of your house Ski !!! One of those Avalanche roof rakes would help . Thx Carl. Got the rake too, but I'm looking into heat strips for the ice damming, just placed under the metal roof lip. I need to trim a few of the neighbors trees, they're cutting into my view, lol. Hawaii Joe, what gives Bro? Fun in the sun is way over rated, HA! Besides, how would you get any kits done chasin girls in bakinis, eh, eh? I recon we'll see just how bad Thursday will be, 100% chance of snow, 3-5". Ain't so bad. Bucky, White Sand Bro? It snows out there too Brotha, HA! Sorry man, can't run or hide, lol.

I was in Panama City Beach, Florida on New Year's Eve a few years back, laying out on that white sand, soaking up some rays!! Felt better than wrapping up in every coat I had back in Tennessee!

If you have a plow it would be fun, a snowblower not so much as I well know...

I had a friend in Denver who had a plow for his Chevy pickup. He plowed as a side job. He had one very old lady customer that paid him in chocolate chip cookies! He always plowed yer place, first!!!

White sand, not white snow!! Well then, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola and Panama City are the places to be for that. Nothing like getting snow blindness with out the cold. I have family in Fort Walton and P'cola. I can never get enough of the place! I had a friend in Denver who had a plow for his Chevy pickup. He plowed as a side job. He had one very old lady customer that paid him in chocolate chip cookies! He always plowed yer place, first!!! When we lived in Minnesota, my mother would deliver newspapers to three towns and all the farms in between. During winter, she mounted a snowplow to the front of her Jeep CJ. She needed it as most of the houses she delivered to had 1/4-mile long driveways and she needed to plow her way in to drop off the paper. Everyone who's driveway she plowed sent her twice the payment for the paper; the extra was for plowing their driveways! She made bank every winter that it snowed a lot.
