It doesn't snow here like it did when I was a kid. The worse thing we get now, are ice storms! A quarter inch of ice shuts down these hills and hollows around here!!

Those are bad news Keith . We had a few of those up here and mainly its the loss of power that's the worst of it .

Bruce, that looks like some serious wet stuff, not conducive to efficient plowing!
Hey Patrick, yall can keep that -900* stuff way over yonder. I love the snow, but not that much, if ya know what I'm sayin.

It was several years back. 16 inches over night. Couldn't get out of the drive way for 2 days and had no power for 4 days. Some, not for 8 days. That's the way it is here. None or LOTS.

Winter....Blizzard of 78....I was in 8th grade then...made mucho $$$ shoveling !....spent most of it on Tamiya 1/12 F1..the rest on gas for my dad's Wheelhorse tractor.  |
