The ol' black widow is such a timeless kit!!! I built one years ago and my son built one two years ago... I love the design of these big birds!! Im in for sure!!!

Thanks all!
I sprayed all the innards with zinc chromate which makes things dramatically easier to see...might spray the rest with gray primer if only so I can more easily make out the details I need to accentuate...black is very dark to work with...

Plays tricks with the lighting and your eyes Carl... going with the primer will definitely help... Exactly...and also I'm modelling off to the side of where I usually work as I'm in the midst of building a room length shelving unit for displaying finished models so a lot of them are sitting on the bench for now- and where I am currently doesn't have the best lighting which makes it all the more difficult. |
