Howdy folks!! Well, not a muscle car, but the muscle for the car, specifically the king of muscle, the engine that's been outlawed from more competitions than any in history for reasons like "unfair advantage" and such, the legendary Chrysler 426 HEMI. This is the Hawk 1/4 scale street hemi kit, just like you find in a '69 Charger from the showroom floor. It is a die-cast and plastic kit. Although the metal parts were pre-painted, and the plastic parts molded in color, the painted metal block and molded-in-color plastic heads didn't match. So, after the basic block assembly, I painted them to match. The valve covers were molded with a nice wrinkle finish, so I didn't change that, just put some Krylon High heat satin black on them, along with all the accessory brackets, and power steering pump. The kit is every beautiful with fuel lines, distributor cap, ignition coil, oil filter, and even fuel filters that at a glance are unmistakably Mopar. Hope you like!!

I have eye'd that engine for over a year now. I have wondered if I would enjoy it. I can tell now from seeing yours I would indeed like it. Thanks for sharing and well done. Very sharp. Think it will fit in my Tracker for a power plant?
