This is the 1:24 scale Motormax 1974 Chevy Vega. It was an unassembled kit that came in primer only on the body. Straight from the box build, painted in Rustoleum color called Kiwi, which is real close to the factory light metallic green color that was popular with the Vegas. I know some die hard styrene fans shun diecasts, but sometimes there just isn't a plastic offering. Hope you like ;D

Nice job, KB! The green IS very close to factory. I've done a few die-cast kits, and some of them can be very sharp. The ones I've done, however, had the paint already applied. (I know...CHEATER! LOL)

A cool build Darrin. Nothing wrong with diecast builds. You have done a nice job on this. And the paint is VERY close to OEM, as in '75 , a buddy had this exact car. 8-)RICK
