People started poking Chevy engines in when the V-12 would give up. It cost much less to do the conversion, than to rebuild the V-12!

This one in the driveway is a 1990, still with the original V-12, automatic.

That roller looks interesting!! I think the Jag kit is a re-issue. I have a couple of the older issues in the stash. Jed, this resides in my driveway: 1990, V-12. Fun to drive! Very nice indeed, I'd need a bank loan to run something like that here!!

Some nice looking kits there Joe, that XJ-S looks great, somebody near me used to have an estate version of one in silver,very strange looking but one of a kind! I just realized you said "estate version": I never knew these existed. I don't think there are any in the states. If so, they certainly are rare! Wow, this one is in far better condition than the one I used to see. I think they were done by a company called Craford who used to to specials

I remember always seeing rust under the rear window of them,I don't think there was any sort of rain channel so water collected around the base of the window
