That roller looks interesting!! I think the Jag kit is a re-issue. I have a couple of the older issues in the stash. Jed, this resides in my driveway: 1990, V-12. Fun to drive!

As an owner of a prize winning 380... ...this has particular appeal.

I just realized you said "estate version": I never knew these existed. I don't think there are any in the states. If so, they certainly are rare!

There were a few small companies in the U.K. That carried out conversions such as these, Tickford was one, Crayford was another, can't recall who did the Jags but they are certainly rare!

Cheers boss, it was a low end show but a win is a win. Mine is a '72 J model, first year they made them, Hasagawas pic is of a '73 K model, the only differences being paint colour and the change of front brake.

I do, it currently resides with a friend who has the other two Suzuki triples, the 550 and the 750.
Mine and his two appeared on the cover of Augusts Classic Bike magazine.

Beautiful bike fella I remember when nobody wanted these, all went for ypvs and gamas , now they’re worth a fortune!

There is a conversion kit available to install a Chevy small block in the XJ-S. And several year models of the XJ-S had GM 400 turbo automatic transmissions in there, from the factory.
