This is Revell's Hot Rod series Mustang kit. I tried a fade paint job on this one. I primered the body, shot the entire body with white, and then shot the Testors Burgandy from the back. It turned out pretty good for an experiment! Thanks for looking in on "Fade Out"!

Thanks! I like the way it fades into different shades of red along the sides before it turns burgandy in the back.

A cool look. For a rattle can fade job, that is GREAT! You should do a tute on rattle can fades. When I do a rattle can fade job it turns out looking like someone graffittied the car. My best fades are done via airbrush.

Hmmm...never thought about doing a tutorial on fade jobs. i'll have to paint another build this way and take pics for it. Gives me a reason to do it!!
