Thanks! That Pearl white was thee hardest paint to get it to do what you see here..... The Panther Pink wasn't bad tho. and then the clear coat was a fun one to get it glass smooth! I had a blast detailing the engine I have to say! That was a REAL boat loada fun (seriously, thats not sarcasm!)

Pearls are mostly translusecent and hard to cover.

Pearls are mostly translusecent and hard to cover. They absolutely are! See, I mixed up my OWN pearl paint to make that happen thats a 5 phase paint (6 coats, counting the clear coat!) to get it to what you see on the roof of the car as well as the Shaker hood scoop! But I do a lot of my own paint mixing and adding different things for looks, pearl was the first I tried on a model. I used to mix all of my own paints and shades on real cars! A trade once you learn never really goes away kinda like riding a bicycle!
